Check out the Rebel home page ......two GM's accept already the Rebel challenge. The first match is set for May 22nd. Time control is 40/2 with one hour for remainder of the game. Perhaps this will break the ice in the "cold war" that has existed between GM's and computer chess programs. Maybe Its just wish-full thinking, but I can only aplaud this attempt by Ed and others to further computer chess. TP
