The percentage is difficult to determine, but it will obviously be less than if
CM was in the foreground. It also depends HEAVILY on which features you have
turned on in Word, such as correcting spelling/grammar while you type, that
little animated helper window that comes with Office, etc. Turning any of those
off will make CM (and your computer) run faster and smoother.

The Chessmaster personality does the analyzing always.
