Ok, we pretty much all agree that this Q-sac mate was quite beautiful, and a fare (or is fear:)), test to see how the different chess programs search the root nodes. In fact I like that CM6000 & The King look at all these crazy sacs first. My question; Is there a compiled database of positions just like this one, (r1b2r2/3pNpkp/3pn1p1/2pN3P/2PnP3/q3QP2/4BKP1/1R5R w - - 0 1 or page 123 of the excellent Neishtadt book, 'Queen Sacrifice', as someone pointed out), that I can download, and conduct even more of this type of test? Thanks to all, mrslug - the inkompetent chess software addict!
