I've just noticed that the World Micro Computer Chess champion will also be crowned at the same time as The World Computer Chess Champion. The WMCC will be the highest computer using only one readily available Microprocessor. Also notice that the top 4 programs will be invited to play a game against 4 Grandmasters on June 20 starting at 11:30 am. The GM's are all 2600 or above. That should be just as interesting as the tournament itself! This computer chess stuff is getting exciting. Jim Walker
