  True, but you are completely missing the point I am trying to make.  A
computer can play at the Grandmaster level at various time controls, whereas it
may not play at that level at 40/2.  For instance Fritz5 just proved that at
game/30 It can play at 2810 Level!. So for all practical purposes when you sit
down to play fritz at game\30 you are facing a grandmaster strength opponent.
at that particular time control.  A computer program then cannot be Im or Gm by
playing Game\60, but it can certainly play at Grandmaster Strength at that time
control!
