Dr. Bob Hyatt posted a reply on why he is not posting as often on CCC.
One of the moderators posted back and misinterpreted what Bob was
saying. Bob tried to clarify. Moderators deleted the thread.

New thread created to ask Bob to join us again. I posted an
agreement. Bob attached to my post a response. Bob's response
was removed.

Bob created new thread to ask that his id be removed. Ed
also asked that his be removed.

My opinion. Bob is the victim here. Bob made valid points.
Both Bob and Ed have been attacked in rgcc and then helped
create CCC. We need both Bob and Ed in this forum. I am
not blaming any moderator, it is a difficult job, but Bob and
Ed are essential to this forum and have valid points. I suggest
we make every effort (offline) to get both these members back.
I also suggest that we create (modify if already exists) a moderator
guide book and take Bob's and Ed's suggestions to heart. We need
them, they do not need us in this forum.

Bob and Ed should be considered "special members". They helped create
this forum, are the experts and are very helpful to most anyone needing
help. They only ask that they not be the subject of personal attacks
and that we stay on relevant topic. Perhaps two groups are needed.
One for Computer Chess Programming and the other for Computer Chess Misc.

I have been a memember here since the beginning. ICD is great for providing
this service. I am greatful and recommend ICD to my friends and family.
The moderators are good people trying to do a difficult job. Let's put
our ego's away and get Bob and Ed back, correct the moderation process
and have fun with this. :)

Best Regards,
Chris Carson
