I hope he comes back too, but of course, it is his decision. HIGGINS "Damn Mrs. Pearce; and damn the coffee; and damn you; and damn my own folly in having lavished hard-earned knowledge and the treasure of my regard and intimacy on a heartless guttersnipe." I think the parallels are interesting, since some feel that Dr. Hyatt is short with them. Which reminds me of this fragment: HIGGINS "The question is not whether I treat you rudely, but whether you ever heard me treat anyone else better." At any rate, I like Dr. Hyatt, and I like crafty. My position is clearly biased from that regard and perhaps I cannot see clearly for that reason. I do not want to rail against the moderators. Moderators are humans who can have strong opinions too, and we should not be surprised if they act like humans. This is the very reason that I would have been a terrible moderator. Instead, I would ask that all parties try to be flexible and accomodating as much as possible. If we treat other with respect and dignity to the very maximum of our ability it might make everything run more smoothly. I certainly have hopes for moderation. The usenet forum news:rec.games.chess.computers has become little more than a cesspool for disturbed individuals to vent their spleens.
