Subject: Moderators are clearly out of control

This post was deleted and as promised I have re-posted it. I have had no email
explaining this deletion. I do not believe that anything in it is against the
charter of this group.

Having read the deleted posts, I have decided that the current moderators, taken
as a group, are creating an atmosphere that I can't tolerate.

It is not "off topic" to criticize and discuss the decisions of moderators.
Many if not most of the personal attacks in that deleted thread were *by* the
moderators. And "inaccuracies" and different understandings are the reasons
that arguments happen, the point of having an argument is to resolve them.

The real problem here is that you guys have thin skins, but you are unable to
predict and understand the effect of your own posts and emails upon the people
who get them. This is an extremely bad combination.

I will return on or after July 1st, perhaps briefly before in order to
participate in the moderator candidate nominating process, or to repost this if
it is deleted, or perhaps to follow-up on this thread.

I can't tell you how disgusting I find it that I actually have to worry that
this post *will* be deleted.

Thank you,

bruce
