Hey Karinsdad!

I got a bit dizzy reading about Renard :) I agree it's all a matter of degrees.
Anyway here is my definition of fixing:-
A prearranged result that enables someone to win a prize, title or rating points
Some GM draws are to that end, apparently very prevalent in US Swiss tournaments
in the last round. I still think many draws are simply because the two GM's
involved are out of the picture and want a day off. Chess can be more like a job
to GM's I suppose. Maybe CHess should take the lead from Soccer, which was
suffering from draw death, now it's 3 points for a win 1 for a draw.

Too bad about Bob and Ed...I have no idea what's going on, all I know is that
the RGCC was a disgrace so some moderation is necessary.
