Go up one level in this thread

That is what most of us want. I wrote a post from which I gather most of this
started, because I heard someone say that a moderator replies to it, then
another one decided to delete the whole thing.

My original post was only about how I think more should be done to bring back
bob. And I got a reply slamming me for saying only that.

Now I wrote a second post asking why my first post was deleted and that post was
also taken away. I still have recieved no email to say why.

Sure this place will survive, but if you get rid of people who have great
knowledge in this subject matter, Bob, ed etc, Then this place turns into
nothing more than a place to ask endless question about programs which have been
answered before in here. And for people wanting to write programs, well then
some people here have done a great job to drive them away.

No more bob, ed looks like he is going, Never hear from Amir anymore.

I do not know of the past deeds of this place, and with other people leaving,
but in the past I know that there has always been a side, half go one way and
the other half go another. But this whole issue with bob Hyatt, is more like 98%
on his side and the small percent aginst him.

If the whole thing was caused by threads that were not deleted or deleted late,
then the moderators should have apolagized for whatever mess happened that was
caused by them.

This place on whole is great, it will survive, but on the other hand, most of
the respected people in chess have left here, so as to the quailty of this place
in the future well who knows.

If it was my post that started all this, all I asked was for someone to make
more of an effort to get bob back. As to the dribble other people write then who
knows.
