I just think that the whole Rob Hyatt thing went to far. If the current three moderators emailed him and said mistakes were made, and invite him back then I think everything would be fine. To me even if you do not mean the words saying them will do fine. This does not involve begging, what is so hard. Let me right an example of what you could send him. We promise to take abuse given to you more strickly with moderation of those types of posts, we cannot assure you that mistakes will not happen again, but just to let you know that they are mistakes and nothing more. Regards NOW tell me would something like that be so hard, and if bob did not want to come back after reading something like that then I think it is a lost cause, because he would be the one not wanting to settle the matter. So moderators, the three of you, send something like that to him and just settle this whole thing. And instead of giving more excuse just write to him again, and write something that will not cause any conflict.
