I have no idea where you are "coming from" here. I have _never_ asked for
preferential or special treatment. I _have_ asked for fair treatment. If you
read the threads about moderation you can't help but notice that there _is_ a
problem. Some posts get deleted that ought to get deleted. Some get deleted
that ought not get deleted. And some don't get deleted that ought to get
deleted.

_all_ I have asked for here is that personal attacks be deleted, _quickly_. And
I gave an example of one against me that stood for > 24 hours while the
responses to the post were deleted quickly. I hardly consider that fair. And
I hardly consider asking that such not happen should be construed as asking for
'special status'.

I have had more than one post deleted in a thread that was deleted, and I didn't
object at all. But _this_ case I pointed out was different, because the entire
thread wasn't deleted. Just _all_ of the follow-ups to the original post.

However, I am more than happy to grant your request to not come back. The only
reason I broke my silence _this_ time was because of a statement made by a
moderator that I took issue with, the idea that "if the moderators get down on
their knees and beg that I would return." Returning is _my_ decision. The
moderators can make the decision to kick me out. But they have _no_ chance of
making the decision to convince me to post here again. That is _my_ choice...
and not one to be made by anyone but me.

I'm sorry you feel as you do, but you are certainly entitled to your opinion
of what has transpired. Perhaps one day we might find common ground in the
middle of this...
