Yes, I agree with you on your definition. I was just trying to point out that
for some people, it goes beyond that.

I am really on the fence about changing the scoring system for chess (and have
been for years). If everyone always (at least at the start of a game) played for
a win, there would be no reason to change the scoring system. Since not everyone
has a good set of what I loosely refer to as ethics, there is a problem that is
hard to address.
