The emotions run very high in this computer chess field. I have grown callouses from CCC. Once upon a time, every threat to resign caused me great concern because I thought it would bring the CCC down (I much prefer success over failure). It turned out that people left and others came, and CCC managed just fine. If you would have told me two years ago when CCC began, that just about every CCC Founder would be gone and yet we would still average more than 2000 hits a day, and have active, interesting conversation 24 hours a day here, I would have been willing to bet against you. On a personal level, I would LOVE to see them all back discussing computer chess AND getting along, but I suppose some personalities were meant to clash. Steve (ICD/Your Move)
