What could be better than listening to hits from the 50s and 60s, sipping some dark rich coffee and playing computer chess after coming in from outside and looking at heavenly bodies through a 20 inch newtonian telescope? How about you all? Don't you find that computer chess is a central part of life? Maybe this is some sort of disorganized religion. In reply to the honorable Larry Tamarkin, I can say for sure that computer chess programs are not over-priced. If we get tired of being beaten then we can look at games such as the Junior 5 /Israeli Olympic Team games again over tea or coffee and savor the nuances of fine positional and lightning tactical chess. Now I think that I will go back to looking at the Milky Way and listening to the clicks, pops and whizzes of that lightning storm in Texas on my shortwave receiver. Don't forget to buy the latest chess program because life is short. Tim Frohlick PS What was in that coffee?
