If you read the Frequently Asked Questions, at the Gambitsoft website, you will see a statement that refers to the very few packages that have been lost in the mail, during the past year or so. Then, they say that if your shipment gets lost, Gambitsoft takes the risks. If I understand correctly, this means that if a shipment gets lost, Gambitsoft will replace the lost item with another one. Well, in my case, I bought a Fritz 5.32 upgrade in december and never received it. I wrote to Gambitsoft and Bert Seifriz wrote back something which can be interpreted as "Bad Luck, guy". I wrote back to tell him about his corporative "politique" of assuming the risk in the case of a lost shipment and he just answered that "this does not apply automatically". I don´t understand what he means by that. As far as I see, I know that Gambitsoft will not observe its own rules of the game, but I want to warn you, guys: Do not expect very much from Gambitsoft when it comes to comply with the terms of their own agreement. Maybe I just had bad luck, but thanks to them, I am even unable to use my Fritz 5.16. Do you think this is fair. Ask yourself, Bert if a serious company can garantee it assumes the risks and then, when the risks change from potencial danger to a factual reality, neglect the aforementined garantee. Vicente F.
