IE when we communicate it is generally about chess-related things, not marketing-related things. We did have a long conversation about this a few years ago, but no real 'meat' was discussed, just the idea of a "pc board" that could be plugged in... The question would be that either one of the two statements is true: (1) Hsu wants to design the hardware chip, PCI interface and put together a basic chess program to drive the hardware. If this is true, then he would likely be very interested in becoming an 'engine' for some existing GUI. (2) Hsu's 'start-up' company wants the entire pie. IE they want to develop the entire kit and kaboodle, from GUI to engine to database program. Either way would be reasonable. but (2) would take a lot of time.
