I've been trying to develope a checker program for few months. Now it works fine if I start level of depth =6 or less. If starting depth is 8 or more ,some of the piece may disappear . If starting depth is 12, about half of pieces of their squares disappear. I write a function to break and watch the program on some nodes and find out that the bizarre behavior appears around the 350000th node. But I don't understand it. If I stopped the program on a few nodes before reaching the 350000 th node and watched it node by node, it appeared to be normal on screen. If I let it run automatically again,it became crazy again. My question are... 1. Does my program run out of stack space? 2.How to fix it? I 'am an ameateur programmer. My program is based on TSCP concept. I use TURBO C 2 on DOS 6.0. My Internet membership was expired. I 'm still looking for a new ISP.I'll be back in about one week. I think I will have a lot of questions in the future. Could I have some email address for asking AI programming questions? Thanks in advance, T.Tovirat tatoent@yahoo.com
