True, and for that reason I would be surprised if the unit sold for more than 300$ for long, as according to market research this is the limit for mass market acceptance for such a system. And of course this is a complete system, with a DVD player, and all necessary interfaces for sound and graphics, USB, etc., plus a case to hold it all. The only hardware Hsu has to produce is an add-in card, though of course he needs software as well. Market issues aside, the point is it's rather impressive already what can be produced in this price range. I hope Hsu does well, so that he has enough money to keep producing faster versions over time. :)
