I bought CM6000 and Junior 5. Both programs are great, but I prefer Junior 5. It helped me to practice some of the less known openings and significantly improve my Chess. I use it together with ChessBase Light. Anyway, both programs will certainly help you to improve at least 200 points from 1400. Maybe you should also read one of the good books about improving your chess. If you are interested I can send you the titles of my favorit text books about chess.
