Having just Surfed over to the Chessmaster Site, I was surprised to see the
following two features comming this summer.

And if you want to check it out yourself visit

http://www.chessmaster.com/index.htm

Here are the two programs advertised there

Chessmaster Color Game Boy
----------------------------------------------
The perfect chess companion for players on the move, the Color Game Boy system
lets you match wits against the Chessmaster anytime, anywhere.

16 difficulty levels to challenge Beginners to Grandmasters
2 player mode via Link Cable or one one Game Boy System
Setup board in any position to play, analyze or solve chess problems
Timed Chess, Blindfold Games and Opening Book Library
Compatible with both Color Game Boy and original Game Boy systems

The most powerful chess program for the Color Game Boy System!

Chessmaster II for the Sony Playstation
-------------------------------------------------------------
Chessmaster, the world's best selling chess program comes to Sony PlayStation,
the world's best selling game console.

3D high resolution graphics with real-time board zoom and rotation
Choose from over 24 different, beautifully mastered chess sets
Play against any of 64 human-like computer chess personalities
Earn a chess rating
Chess tutorials and move advice available from the Chessmaster.

Well now apart from dominating the PC Market, they will now dominate the chess
market on the largest selling gaming machine. And the largest selling portable
gaming machine.

I also wonder how strong the the gameboy and the playstaion games will be.

If the gameboy can rate up around 2200 elo, then that would smash the portable
market which can cost 5 times plus the price you would spend on a gameboy plus
games, and it comes with a portable screen.
