Well, I found out today that I passed my medical board recertification and that I will win a prize in the Publishers' Clearing House contest with prizes totaling $14,000,000 dollars. I was so excited that I played Hiarcs 6 at Game in 30 minutes on my PII 333Mhz and beat it. Hiarcs had 1 minute left and I had 23 minutes left. Here is the game:\ Petrov Defense White: TJ Frohlick Black: Mr. Hiarcs 6 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nf6 3. Nc3 Bb4 4. Bc4 O-O 5. O-O Nc6 6. d3 Bxc3 7. bxc3 d6 8. Ng5 Na5 9. Bxf7+ Rxf7 10. Nxf7 Kxf7 11. Bg5 c6 12. f4 Bg4 13. Qe1 Qb6+ 14. Kh1 Qc5 15. Qh4 h5 16. fxe5 Qxe5 17. Bxf6 gxf6 18. d4 Qe6 19. h3 Ke7 20. hxg4 hxg4 21. e5 dxe5 22. dxe5 Rf8 23. exf6+ Kd6 24. Rae1 Qc8 25. Qg3+ Kc5 26. Re5+ Kb6 27. Rb1+ Kc7 28. Rxa5+ Kd7 29. Rd1+ Ke6 30. Qe5+ Kf7 31. Qe7+ Kg6 32. Qg7+ checkmate! The 15. Qh4 move was found by Hiarcs 6 after a 7 minute search post-game analysis. The winning move was 26. Re5+ and it led to a king hunt. It is nice to show a computer who is boss. I tried to duplicate the moves from 11. Bg5 with "Der Bringer" but it managed to get out of the complications. Try this game with the newer Hiarcs 7.32 and see what happens. PS Do you think that with my prize winnings of $1.00 or less that I will be able to afford a Gameboy?
