Dedicated chess computers in all sizes exist because there are people who want to move pieces instead of looking on a screen. Secondly as you wrote yourself this is Chessmaster 2. In fact there was/is already a Chessmaster (5000) available for the Gameboy and this destroyed nothing. Third it plays so weak on a Gameboy that it is not interesting to many people. Besides, the kids who run around with a Gameboy prefer other games! All in all, this is no competition for anybody!
