24.Qd1 Rxe1+ 25.Rxe1 Qe7 26.Qc1 Qe2 is leading to exactly the same position.

Rebel gave away the e-line  before this move.
maybe 23.exd4 was not good and Rebel should play 23.e4(Junior's idea)
