I know GMs are not *always right*, but I'd be sceptical about dismissing Nunn's
evaluation, especially if one is relying on a program to 'pursue a difficult
attack'!

I wouldn't claim an 'answer', but I suggest that instead of Qg4, Qd3+ or h4!?
are
worth exploring.
