As James indicated, check the archives -- you'll find many posts on the Fritz-Polgar match. It's worth noting that Rebel's victory over Anand came at blitz time controls (4 games at 5 minutes + 5 sec. increment, and 2 games at G/15). Rebel won this part of the match by a score of 4.5-1.5. The final two games of that match were at 40/2, and Anand won 1.5-0.5. My opinion: at G/30, the micros clearly play somewhere in the GM to super-GM range. At 40/2, there are so few games that it is hard to draw conclusions, but I suspect they aren't quite at GM strength. --Peter
