In fact, I was doing my *usual* multi-line analysis in CBase (ie Fritz 5.32 engine), and, having failed to assure myself that Qd3+ (still better than Qg4) was a 'sure win', I hit on h4 with all the desperation of a gambler playing his last trump! SO to find that LGG2 agrees, only endears it to me the more! I'd like to get a 'final word' on this -- I'll see if I can get the question to John Nunn via 'GM channels'... All the best Francis
