I don't consider the Fritz "GUI" to be one of the best for windows. First of all it is not a windows interface. It is more like a DOS window with the capability of resizing some areas of the screen. Many of the commands available in a Fritz "window" aren't available through right clicking the mouse. You have to look it up. You can't display/resize "windows" to suit your own taste nor minimize windows that are displayed. I would consider the Shredder interface to be a true windows GUI. I am not commenting on Fritz or Shredder as chess playing software, only on the "GUI" for each. Steve
