OK, I suppose there is a problem somewhere in the path... Currently I get
download rates between 200 and 500 bytes/second when I read CCC. And sometimes
nothing happens for a long time (say 10 or 20 seconds). This is really getting
on my nerves.
This problem is one of the reasons why I declined the moderator job. Reading all
the posts on CCC could easily take me more than 2 hours at this rate. And this
is not new. Things are slow since several months. It's just that since several
days it's getting really really Sloooooow.
I initially assumed that the bottleneck was the optical cable that links the USA
and the caribbean island, but it looks like it is not the case.
