I don't think the table top computes can compete with a fast pc running one of
the top pc programs. Regardless of that I prefer the table top models when I
play some times. When I am playing chess, I dont want to be looking at a
monitor, I for one can not get into a long game of chess unless I am playing on
a real 3D chess board. When someone comes out with a cordless pc chess board
that will work with my PC chess programs I will be a happy man. Something with
about a 20 foot range so I don't have to see the monitor or hear the hum of the
PC's cooling fans.
