Hello,
another example:
White : Kh3 Ne7 g3 h4
Black : Kf3 Ne5 g6 h5
Black to move : 1...Ng4! (test by P. Nolot 1982!)
2.Nxg6 Kf2 3.Nf4 Kg1 4.Nd3 Kh1 Zugzwang 5.N plays Nf2 mate
For the same reason Fritz does not find the winning move.
This is a funny position, because Junior 5 does not find
the winning move for another reason:
After 4.Nxh5 black has only a knight and Junior has been
"told" that it cannot win with that (source : Amir Ban) !
The problem with chess rules is that there are almost
always exceptions!
