Steven J. Edwards is working on an update right now. He recently asked for
input for that purpose. I expect that we should see a new revision shortly.
Sadly: very, very, very few programmers seem to be willing to take the time to
implement it correctly. This is strange, since the documentation is so clear,
well-written, and unambiguous. How many programs do you know of that chose
-10,000 {or some other odd value} to represent a checkmate, even though the
documentation clearly states that the correct value is -32767? And 100
centipawns should represent *one* pawn [FCOL]. After all, the prefix centi-
means hundredth.

Sorry for the ranting spew. But I feel better now.
