I think such a poll is completely pointless. We may as well have a
poll on how many hurricanes will occur this year. As far as whether
the thing will rate at 2800+ or not, again we'll just have to see.
Kasparov stated that in his opinion DB2 played sometimes at 3000,
sometimes much less, but in any case it was definitely in his ballpark.
I forget what the relative strength of this card is supposed to be
compared to DB. If it does 120 Mnps, that's stronger than DB1 but
weaker than DB2. Or does it have some other tweaks that are supposed
to make it relatively stronger?

In any case whether it beats Kasparov in a tournament or not, I think
it will have a substantial impact on opening variations. It's one
thing to see how much it can calculate under time control in a tournament,
but for home analysis the sky is the limit. What is its ELO if you
let it think for an hour on a position? Two hours? Kasparov and
every other player will be running these things day and night for
their preparation.
