Oops.... when running this kind of tests I usually run it first at 5 seconds a move to get an idea of how much time to spend searching. If my program solves half of them at 5 seconds, 5 minutes will be overkill. :) Here it was not, so I searched at 5 minutes, and accidentally posted the 5 seconds result. For the updated statistics, my program solves 8 of the 16 while seeing mate in none of them. Position number 15 is now 9 pawns in white's favor after 17 plies, and position 16 went through 10 plies still with a negative score. In every position but #5 and #16 my program sees a sizeable plus score for the side to move. James
