Why not organize your own event with any rules you want.  And stop nagging
those of use that have been participating in the WCCC since 1974 on any hardware
platform that is available.  The WCCC is every three years, to choose the
"ultimate computer chess champion."  Nothing more, nothing less.  It has been
that way since the first one.  It will continue to be that way regardless of
your nagging and complaining about it.  Because it is what the _programmers_
want...  When they change, the event will change...
