I can't agree about this as we are talking about the spelling of Michael's name (spelled correctly in Chess Life & many other well known sources), rather than the expression of common ideas (not often checked by cutting & pasting into a word processor to check). It is common in news group postings to not be 'bothered' by common word misspellings for this reason. Whereas, the correct spelling of a person's name (As they are deserving of this respect), has infinitely more importance. (At least to me!). mrslug - the chess software addict!
