Go up one level in this thread
You know this is all getting a bit silly. Simply put, no matter how you spell his name. In the recent posts I think we all know who they are talking about. If in a months time he is mentioned again and his name is spelt wrong, and if people have no idea about him, then you can ask do you mean GM Rohde. Otherwise I think it is time to drop off this thread and get on with life. No one is writing it the wrong way to offend him. I wrote his name Rhode, Simply because when I was writing my post the server was slow, I did not have another reference to his name and I was not going to backstep and waste time. So I spelt it the way I thought it was spelt. Time to get over it, no one was offending him. And if they constantly kep writing it wrong, send them an email. it is nothing we have to write a whole thread about. Maybe What does this have to do with computer chess is a title and post that in its name itself is going to cause conflict. I think instead of making blunt statements intending to insight conflict, we should just write what I did, the reason for writing it wrong and get on with life.
