I don't know what crawled out of Hiarcs7.32 here. Looking over some of Hiarcs7.32's games I have been able to reproduce the moves with Hiarcs7.01. In the above position Hiarcs7.01 does not have any problem finding the correct 27 exf6. Not only did Hiarcs 7.01 find the correct move, but out searched Hiarcs7.32 by a full ply.(hiarcs7.01 11 ply vs hiarcs7.32 10 ply in 1679 secs) Search results for Hiarcs7.01 on a PII 400 64mb hash Found the correct move.-> 8->27 38sec. 1293kN e5xf6 e7xe2 c2xe2... +173 9->29 74sec. 2509kN e5xf6 +141 10->30 384sec. 12130kN exf6 e7xe2 +173 Full 10ply search done in about 11 mins, this is equal to Hiarcs7.32 search in 28 mins. 11 1097s 33mN e5xf6 e7xe2 c2xe2 g7xf6 g1xg2 f6xc3 d1-d8+ g8-g7 +173 I searched the position for 28 mins, or about 1679 secs. then stopped. Hiarcs7.01 never changed best moves after finding exf6 at 38 secs. > >Uri
