Actually, it does hurt sometimes.
For example FIN09 from LCT2:
This is found by Hiarcs 7.0 in 14:36 on my machine, so you would expect H7.32 to
find it in 11-12 minutes. However, it does not find it in 20:00 with tablebases.
Either this is a result of decreased search speed or just another one of the TB
mysteries...

BTW, MChess' way of accessing the TB's is probably rather unefficient; Marty
himself labeled it as "experimental". Crafty does much better in that regard,
and I suppose Hiarcs is also using much more efficient code.
(Actually, it even works fine from CD! Unless you have a very special position
of course where Hiarcs can easily hit in excess of 1000 probes per second...)
