As one of the few obviously anonymous posters here (there are some people who
just use one name or their first name) and after reading the posts here, I do
not think this will work.

Too many problems, too much hard work for Steve's people, too many hard
feelings, too many innocent people hassled.

I was originally for this type of idea for new accounts, but I think this will
not work for everyone. So, we have a moderator system and if the problems become
TOO severe, people should vote in moderators who won't put up with the nonsense.

There does not appear to be a solution that either really solves the problem, or
does not annoy some of the members. So, at worse it is a lose-lose situation and
at best we have a status quo type of situation. But, I think that Harald's
proposal will lead to a lose-lose situation (unfortunately, it would be nice to
find a solution that made the moderators job easier).
