As one of the few obviously anonymous posters here (there are some people who just use one name or their first name) and after reading the posts here, I do not think this will work. Too many problems, too much hard work for Steve's people, too many hard feelings, too many innocent people hassled. I was originally for this type of idea for new accounts, but I think this will not work for everyone. So, we have a moderator system and if the problems become TOO severe, people should vote in moderators who won't put up with the nonsense. There does not appear to be a solution that either really solves the problem, or does not annoy some of the members. So, at worse it is a lose-lose situation and at best we have a status quo type of situation. But, I think that Harald's proposal will lead to a lose-lose situation (unfortunately, it would be nice to find a solution that made the moderators job easier). KarinsDad :)
