What you can do to get similar behaviour is to limit the evaluationscore
to <=0 if the side to move is in check (doesn't work here).

Another idea is to assume that a player who has an advantage of (for example)
a piece should be able to increase his score steadily. If the score
doesn't increase for some iterations assume that it is draw. This works also
for some blocked positions.

Don't know if this has bad sideeffects.
