It is obvious they tested some of the inferior beta chips. One just need to look at the very low Floating point benchmarks. AMD begged testers not to use them.I therefore reccomend reading Toms hardware guide carefully. Especially since if they are in the wrong they will post articles retracting earlier statements. But I think firstly serial chess programs (single cpu ones) will benefit, and then parallell ones, as the K7 memory and bus are based on the superior ALPHA architecture. Dan Andersson
