There are 2 possibilities I think: a.) Your fritz-installation is messed up; reinstall fritz, get the june-update from www.chessbase.com => download and check if everthing is ok again. b.) The other engine you are trying to load causes the problems ; try one of the engines you have on your original CD like Doctor?3.0 ; better now ? c.) the last and very unlikely possibility is that something is wrong with your Windows-Installation .
