I spoke to Benjamin recently at the Chicago Open and he told me Kasparov made up facts to suit his arguement. I'm surprized IBM doesn't take him to court. Kasparov has a way of doing that - first he snubbed INTEL, then IBM and no doubt after he'll do the same to Microsoft, of course after making a ton of money from them. Unfortunately despite all his claims Kasparov seems interested only in his personal profit, not the promotion of chess as he claims. Why else would he charge around $70,000 (plus expenses) to do a simul + lecture? On the other hand he probably IS the greatest exponent of using computers to prepare for chess so you have to hand it to him.
