Also, just because one program scores a win over another one, that doesn't necessarily mean that it's the best. Sounds crazy, but if program A defeats program B, and program B defeats program C, there's no guarantee that program A will defeat program C. That's why it's important to have a wide variety of programs playing numerous games against each other to determine which one is the strongest.
