It is ironic how much "Perceived Value" affects the average consumer.
"Perceived Value" is the process of the consumer seeing more expensive
items as being better than less expensive items, whether they are or not.

We are answering questions all day long as to why Hiarcs 7.32 is 1/2 the
price of Hiarcs 7. "Is it weaker?" "Is it missing anything?" "Is it only
an engine?" "Does it have glitches?" "Is Hiarcs going out of business?".
Well, the answer is none of the above! It is simply less expensive and
THAT is hard to understand because "Perceived Value" is so ingrained
in all of us.

The simple answer is that Hiarcs 7 is marketed by Hiarcs who had one
pricing strategy, and Hiarcs 7.32 is marketed by Chessbase who has
another pricing strategy.
