Here it is... Have you ever been frustrated because your forgot to turn your screen saver off before you set your computer analyzing a long game? Or have you ever had APM features interrupt a DOS chess program? It always frustrates me, becase I have to remember to switch the saver on and off. I worry that when the saver is running, it's eating up valuable CPU cycles that could be better used for analysis purposes. How about a feature to disable screen savers for windows chess programs (or maybe just change the screen saver to a blank screen)? OR, how about an analysis screen saver? I don't know if there are any limits placed on the program size for screen savers, but wouldn't it be great if you could kick your screen saver in, confident that the program was analyzing one of your games? In a time when everyone is looking for some way to differentiate their program from others, would this not be a reasonable thing to add? Bob P.
