The best thing you can do with a screen saver is to delete it. Your screen saver has no use, it doesn't save your screen so you can turn it off or just delete all of them. The thing you have to concern yourself with is how fast your computer is set to start going on standby. Nobody will build something that consumes memory into their Chess program to stop a screen saver because it consumes memory. Why not just get rid of your screensavers? Pete Galati
