Hello Steve,

The CD manual for Hiarcs doesn't say what Hiarcs needs for HT it just gives the
formula used for Fritz which I can't believe is true for Hiarcs. The manual for
Hiarcs is called Fritz 5.32. I believe, unless I missed it, there is no
information on how to make use of the Tablebase 1.0 engine. It also doesn't
explain the reason for using the Crafty 16.6 engine - the Fritz 5.32 manual
gives descriptions of the engines included. There's no hash-table info on the
screen to verify that it does not clear hash-tables after a move; therefore, who
knows if it really does? In fact, there's no way of telling if it were
malfunctioning. I could go on about what else is missing information wise but
what's the point? I think I can understand why it's half the price.:)

Don't get me wrong - it's an excellent program! It's just that they could have
prepared the manual a whole lot better than what they did. And no hash-table
info - for heaven sakes why???
