There are some good non commercial programs: 1)Ferret 2)Dark thought 3)Chess tiger 4)P.Conners (can get 1.2 million nodes per second when it runs on a parallel machine with 60 pentiums I will be surprised if noone of them is going to be in the top 3. I believe that fritz has no chance to be number 1 unless they changed it to be a not root processor. Uri
